The smart card based student identity card of Leibniz Universität Hannover (LeibnizCard) requires a portrait photograph. Students of Leibniz Universität Hannover can use this website to upload a photograph for the initial rollout and where required for subsequent cards. Starting with the summer semester 2018, applicants will also have to upload a photograph prior to submitting their enrolment documents.
The LeibnizCard will replace the existing paper identity card in the course of the winter semester 2017/2018. For detailed information on the LeibnizCard please refer to the separate LeibnizCard website.
